Sequim, WA – Clallam County resident  Sue Forde (R) has accepted the challenge and announced her candidacy to run for Washington State Legislative 24th District.   After suggestions from many people, the Sequim citizen announced March 5th that is a candidate for the Washington State Legislature, District 24, Position 1, against a longtime incumbent.

“I believe in transparency and accountability”, Forde said.

“As your elected representative in Olympia, I will vote ‘no’ on State Income Tax, Gas Taxes and other taxes that will raise your cost of living. I will vote for Educational Choices for our children and grandchildren. I will vote for Faith, Family Values and Protection of Individual Rights, especially 1st and 2nd Amendments,” Forde stated.

Safety and security for citizens, as well as affordability-housing and jobs is also a high priority for the candidate, who encourages your vote. “I will make  it my mission to hear the voice of our district communities and represent our needs in Olympia”’ Sue said.
