Letter to the Editor: Proposed Roundabout by JSK

In case you haven’t heard, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is asking for $2.5 million of your tax dollars to build a roundabout directly on Highway 101 at the Longhouse Market and Pot Shop owned by JSK.  I can’t even comprehend Highway 101 going down to 25mph!  But that’s what they are proposing.

There’s no SOS to fight our battles for us anymore so it’s up to us as individuals.  The Tribe lost the backing from the county and Sequim for the roundabout so they are going directly to the DOT.  Then they will be going to Ron’s buddy, State Rep. Steve Tharinger (D), for funding. (Tharinger is chair of the WA State Legislative Budget committee, in case you didn’t know that).  Here’s who to call and write plus the usual senators and legislators.  Don’t forget to write Tharinger!  And pass this on!
