Port Angeles…As over 50 participants joined zoom and phones, pleas were made for attorney fees from Plaintiffs City of Sequim attorney Kristina Nelson-Gross and Andy Murphy attorney for Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe.
Attorneys for Defendants Save our Sequim (SOS) Mike Spence and Parkwood Manufactured Homes Jon Gibson countered arguments stating the case is frivolous. They stated that they are basing their argument on the Constitutionality of the recent decisions of the process.
Judge Brent Basden declared after 45 minutes listening to extensive arguments on both sides said, ” I’m going to deny any request for attorney fees. It is not justified under 44185 or CR 11″.
