Jefferson County, WA – A Trump Rally was held at the Hood Canal Bridge on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 from noon until 3 p.m. Despite cold and sometimes rainy weather, approximately 150 individuals attended to show their support of President Trump with flags and signs, and waving cheerfully at passersby.
As cars and trucks entered onto the bridge, drivers and passengers who honked and gave a thumbs-up were in the strong majority, with some giving thumbs down or worse. Several friendly Highway Patrol were on hand for security. Carl Ramsey drove his rig over from eastern Washington to join in the fun, and sold Trump hats, t-shirts and other items.
Individuals and couples came from Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap County to share in the fun, and smiling faces were all around. The three counties will join in future Trump rallies, so stay tuned and don’t miss out on the next one. It’s a great opportunity to show your support and meet other like-minded folks.
Sue Forde, Gordon Claxton and Dr. Elizabeth Kreiselmaier (candidate for U. S. House of Representatives, 6th Congressional District), join others at the Hood Canal Bridge.
